Core Responsibilities

• Create and design websites for highly successful and entrepreneurial financial services firm
• Help shape brand identity and presence for emerging entrepreneurial business units
• Contribute to the design of cutting-edge trading applications
• Collaborate intimately with software developers, senior management, and stakeholders

Knowledge/Experience/Skills

• 5+ years experience in visual design, graphics design, web application development
• 5+ years experience using Photoshop, Illustrator, Video and Animation tools or demonstrated equivalent

Development Skills

• Exposure to JavaScript, XML, and HTML/DHTML - a plus
• Exposure to programming languages such as C#, VB, Java - a plus
• 2+ years experience working on a product delivery team - a plus
• Knowledge/familiarity with Microsoft environments, technologies and OSs (Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP)
• Deep knowledge of the complexities of design solutions to heterogeneous audiences
• Manages time effectively Has strong communication skills
• Meticulous
• Online investing experience a plus
• Fast creator - can create high quality work at lightning speeds
• Fast learner - will be immersed in a highly sophisticated domain that requires technical knowledge
• Has proven examples of transactional, data/content rich websites
• Experience with Rich Internet Application development a plus
• Has proven examples of successful offline design
• Experience with new product development and deployment a plus
• Proven participation in design-related professional organizations a plus
