OptionsHouse Links Up with OptionAlarm to Provide Auto-Trading
- OptionAlarm subscribers can use OptionsHouse to automatically make trades based on OptionAlarm's model portfolio
CHICAGO -- May 21, 2008 - OptionsHouse, Inc. ("OptionsHouse"), an online retail and institutional brokerage firm, announced today a partnership withOptionAlarm, a provider of options-trading tips. Subscribers ofOptionAlarm will be able to sign on to OptionsHouse's Auto-Trading service to execute trades based on OptionAlarm's model portfolio.
OptionsHouse's Auto-Trading service will provideOptionAlarm subscribers with the ability to automatically implement the investment ideas based on a trading model formed by Dan Micovic, the founder of Chicago-based OptionAlarm. OptionAlarm subscribers must agree to follow the trades recommended by Micovic before joining the service. Whenever Micovic issues a trade in his model portfolio, OptionAlarm will electronically notify OptionsHouse and a trade will automatically be sent to market on behalf of the account holder.

TheOptionAlarm model is based on computerized trading charts mixed with Micovic's fundamental analysis. Micovic started the service in July 2006.
Micovic has spent more than 15 years in the brokerage industry, where he has traded options and conducted classes for new traders. He has been involved with numerous brokerage firms, including Terra Nova Trading, TD Ameritrade and Gruntal & Co.
